Projects
CyLH2Valley (Unlocking the Castilla y León region potential to establish a clean Hydrogen Valley and Economy), HORIZON-JTI-CLEANH2-2024, 2025-2029
CyLH2Valley aims to develop and demonstrate a large-scale Hydrogen Valley in Castilla y León region, encompassing mobility, industry and energy applications. The project will guarantee at least two years of full operation aiming to achieve a full integration and operation during the period 2028-2029. The project includes 40 partners across Europe and ENGRINO is leading the activities of cooperation between regions and is also conducting replication study of a Hydrogen Valley in Region of Central Greece.
Study for the decarbonization of public transport with renewable hydrogen (Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation, 2025)
The study involves the evaluation of scenarios for the transformation of public buses into hydrogen fueled, valorizing excess renewable energy in the area of Attica and Central Greece. It provides a scenario-based assessment and cost benefit analysis for the 2030 and 2050 horizon.
Storage participation in flexibility markets (Regulatory Authority for Energy, Waste and Water, 2024)
The study provides assessments for scenarios of different storage capacities connected in the transmission and distribution grid, and their impact of the RES penetration margin for 2030 and 2050 horizon, as well as the flexibility products and reserves they can provide in the market.
Energy system development with a sector coupling approach (DESFA Gas TSO, 2024)
The study includes a desktop analysis of the European approaches for energy system development plans for the electricity and gas sector and a proposition for a common E&G planning approach, including the P2G technologies and development projects.
